Free and family-friendly the 02 London Mela is produced by Ealing Council and supported by the Mayor of London and London Borough of Hounslow, with BBC Asian Network programming the main stage.
Ajay Chhabra, Artistic Director of the 02 London Mela said: “Wonderful weather, a fantastic programme and the amazing atmosphere created by a record 90,000 visitors made this year’s 02 London Mela the best yet. All generations of all communities enjoyed the event, showing that there is a real appetite for mela-inspired music, dance, outdoor arts and culture. The 02 London Mela has become an annual event, which projects an authentic voice of culture in our city today. A huge thanks to everyone involved in making this year’s 02 London Mela such a success – including, of course, the many thousands of people who came along.”
