The prestigious City Showcase has previously provided profile to Keane and Amy Winehouse, giving them mainstream exposure.

The City Showcase slot sees the culmination of a successful few weeks which has seen Red Cable Sunday release debut single Prelude to the Nocturne which was inspired by Malcolm X and has gained national media exposure and a run of reviews praising the single.

Denis will be playing as part of the brand new Roots and Flutes festival which features classical and world music.

He will also be speaking on the power of music to celebrate the diversity of British Society at the Rocklands City Showcase event at the Apple Store in Oxford Circus on May 8th alongside Time Out’s music editor Eddy Lawrence.

Following this slot Denis will play a couple more dates in June and then spend the summer finishing recording sessions for the debut album The Stolen Hours.
