Ex-Atomic Kitten, Natasha Hamilton is to exclusively perform at the inaugural World Food Awards 2009 on Saturday 31st October at London’s Park Lane Hilton.
Classic pop sensations The Real Thing famous for their mega-hit single, You To Me Are Everything, will also be performing live at the awards.
Indian Idol 4 winner (India’s answer to X-Factor), Sourabhee, the first ever woman to win the competition, and finalist Kapil Thapa are both being flown in from India especially to entertain guests at WFA 2009.
Nominees this year include big name brands like Tesco and ASDA in the Best National Retailer category, as well as Levi Root's Reggae Reggae Sauce, of Dragon’s Den fame, for Best New Product, while world food industry veterans Meena and Kirit Pathak OBE and Sir Gulam Noon MBE are among those up for the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award.
Judges include celebrity chefs Ainsley Harriott and Anjum Anand and David Moore, of BBC's The Restaurant.
