Since 2003, Janet has been Artistic Director of Kali Theatre, a company that develops and presents new theatre writing by South Asian women, seeking out strong individual writers who challenge public perceptions through original and thought provoking theatre. 

 

Janet comes to the Rich Mix stage on Wednesday 29 April to speak about the UK Asian theatre scene and its emerging writing talents. Wrioter and Filmmaker Suman Bhuchar will host the discussion, and Janet will invite a young writer to speak with her.
