Award winning BBC Radio 1 DJ BOBBY FRICTION, presents his own club night FRICTION which is set to bring a new lease of life into the Midlands Asian Underground music scene.

Each and every month, Friction is curated by BOBBY FRICTION himself and will showcase the elite artists of Asian Music; both live acts and DJ's all set in the charismatic Custard Factory Complex in Digbeth, Birmingham.

This month Bobby invites his Radio 1 partner Nihal for a monumental battle between the two BBC heavyweights. Expect a Klash of wits and some serious bass heavy audio. Also Bhangra’s 21st Century saviors ‘Tigerstyle’ drop in for a genre defying trawl through their album ‘Mystics, Martyrs and Maharaja’s’ while East London’s ‘Nasha Experience’ bring the Asiatic Dub-Step and Drum & Bass they’re famous for, as well as officially launching their compilation ‘Eastern Drum & Breaks Volume 3 (Nasha Records)’.

Friction is a fusion of East meets West, Desi meets Urban Electronica in a celebration of the Asian underground. Each artist is hand picked by Bobby himself so expect to see the crème de la crème of exciting, fresh artists alongside leading world class tastemakers in one of the most unique settings in the UK.....Do not miss the debut of something very special indeed for the UK's second city!
