With The ANOUSHKA SHANKAR Project, she continues to develop her own individual voice, drawing on her classical Indian musical roots to create novel forms and expression.

Following on from the success of her album “Rise” on EMI/Angel last year, Anoushka continues to give the sitar new expression in a modern context connecting new audiences to this experience with her unmistakable charisma and talent.
